How great is metal workers’ soul, spirit and heart, it was shown by volunteer blood donor action, supported by delegates and participants in the VI Congress of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’. The women and men colleagues, members of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’, blood donors for many years, showed once again that humanity was a characteristic trait of a considerable number of metal workers coming from all regions of Serbia.

The blood donor action in which metal workers were blood donors, meant a lot to those having serious health problems, so that necessary operations in medical institutions could be performed on them, and that they would be able to return to their families safe and sound. Some were blood donors for the 50th time already. The volunteer blood donor action in which the participants in the Congress of MWBU ‘’Nezavisnost’’ took part, was continued on the second day of the Congress too.
