Background:
Born on September 22, 1951 in Kosovska Mitrovica. Completed the Secondary School of Metallurgy in Kosovska Mitrovica. Employed in “Petar Drapsin”, Mladenovac in 1971. He worked as Shift Metallurgist in Trepca since 1972, in Castings Factory (FOB) Belgrade since 1977 and in “IMT-FOB” Belgrade since 1982. From 1990-1991 he was a member of the Republic Council of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Serbia and a member of “Nezavisnost” Union from the date of its founding, as one of the founders of UBU “Nezavisnost”, in 1991. His first duties and responsibilities in UBU “Nezavisnost” were: Facilitator for branch union organizing of UBU “Nezavisnost”, and commissary offices of MWBU “Nezavisnost”. He performed many tasks in “Nezavisnost” Union: he was team leader for UBU organization, as well as team leader of UBU instructors. He is a member of UBU Presidency, and was a Secretary and Vice-president of MWBU “Nezavisnost” for several years, and was elected Vice-president of UBU “Nezavisnost” in 2001.
